Marhaba a Sahara

Merzouga
- Sat, 01/15/2011 - 00:00

Today we are shivering from cold due having worked around the clock to get the shots while in the desert. Riding into the Erg Chebbi dunes out of Merzouga, we got a small taste of bedouin life – as well as an aftertaste of sand. Bitten by the serenity, we might be back for crossing the Sahara sometime soon.

Loads of images in the bag, we are all backed up and I’ve just begun writing the one reportage piece on the desert part of the trip. As we now move into the Atlas and go for hiking, climbing and clear mountain skies, there probably will be some time left over to write.

We are now in Todra Gorge, going climbing tomorrow. Stay tuned.
